We can't ignore it any longer, we've felt a disturbance in the force and had to dust off our lightsabers to take charge, so get ready as Cape and Cowl will be covering official 'Star Wars' news from this day onward! Frankly it's too awesome to ignore and the cultural impact these films have make it an absolute pleasure to report on. Anyway, let's kick things off with a look at the international banner poster for 'The Force Awakens'! Disney are going worldwide with this one and it looks like their marketing level is set to maximum power so prepare yourself for an onslaught of all kinds of awesome in the next few weeks. Give the above poster a good once over and take a gander at a few previously released one-sheets below and hey, while you're here why not refresh yourself with that beautiful trailer as well.
Set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, new leads Finn, Rey, and Poe Dameron take charge in a new adventure across a galaxy far, far away along the way they'll encounter your favourite characters returning from previous Star Wars films.
Directed by J.J. Abrams and featuring a cast including Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow, 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is set for release December 18th 2015.
