Take a look at this incredible new Batman statue from the talented folks over at Sideshow Collectibles and Prime 1 Studio. The statue is based off of the "Noel Batsuit" which is an alternate skin that's playable in 'Batman: Arkham Origins'. The costume is a firm fan-favourite and was first featured in the pages of 'Batman: Noel' a 2011 graphic novel written by Brian Azzarello and featuring the distinctive art of Lee Bermejo who also helped in designing the statue.
"In this spectacular graphic novel, Batman must come to terms with his past, present and future, as he battles villains from the campy 1960s to the dark and brooding menaces of today, while exploring what it means to be the hero that he is." - Prime 1 Studio
"Batman: Noel" is a must read and puts a clever spin on the premise of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens with the dark knight at the beating heart of the seasonal story. If you haven't had a chance to check it out now is the time to add it to your Christmas list!
Standing at an impressive 30" tall, the statue features interchangeable heads and hands as well as coming with a flexible, posable cape so you;ll have plenty of options getting the Dark Knight's look just right. The statue is of an insanely high quality and will cost a pretty penny at $899.99, if you're feeling inclined you can pre-order right here. Expect the statue to be released in May or June next year.
