The Flash Teams Up With Supergirl for New Variety Cover

Will The Two Heroes Cross-Over On TV?

Grant Gustin has shared the new Variety cover featuring himself as The Flash, Melissa Benoist as Supergirl and Executive Producer Greg Berlanti. The cover is the first time we've seen both The Flash and Supergirl together since the Superman spin-off was first announced. Berlanti is the mastermind behind a lot of the success DC Entertainment is having on television screens recently. Starting with getting "Arrow" off the ground, Berlanti laid the foundations for an expanded DC Universe on television, first came "The Flash", which is just wrapping up a hugely successful first season, and continuing with next years "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". Berlanti is also overseeing the development of the new CBS "Supergirl"show, whilst the other shows are on The CW and have been crossing-over on an almost weekly basis, we're unsure as to whether or not Melissa Benoist will be appearing alongside Grant Gustin on anything more than a magazine cover for now.

One thing is for sure however, this cover is awesome! We would love to see Supergirl team up with the likes of The Flash, Arrow, Atom and more but in the meantime Kara Zor-el needs to make sure here own series is a hit. We'll be sure to keep you updated with the future of DC on TV so keep it locked here at Cape and Cowl for everything Superhero!
