US Network CBS have announced their 2015-2016 Primetime Schedule and confirmed “Supergirl” will air Mondays at 8 P.M. EST starting in November. This places the superhero series in the same time slot as another DC-based series, “Gotham” on FOX. There's no confirmed Broadcast channel yet for the UK but it may accompany Arrow and The Flash on Sky 1.

Melissa Benoist leads a cast as the title hero along with Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and, in mystery roles, Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Hailing from Warner Bros. TV and Berlanti Productions (who also produce the hit DC Comics series “Arrow” and “The Flash” for The CW), “Supergirl” is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El, Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

Supergirl marks the latest entry of several new TV Series that will adapt a DC Comics' property. Flash, Arrow, Gotham and iZombie have all been greenlit for another season each and the recently announced Legends of Tomorrow looks set for a series order, Titans, featuring Batman's sidekick, Nightwing, is currently in pre-prodcution also.

Arrow star Stephen Amell has spoken out about a potential crossover with Supergirl and also voiced his support for the show. We're sure a trailer will hit soon as the current TV season comes to a close for the summer. We'll keep you covered that's for sure, keep it locked at Cape and Cowl for everything Superhero.
