First Look! "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Banner Revealed!

The Atom, White Canary, Rip-Hunter and more

The CW have released their full 2015-2016 primetime shedule and also revealed the first image for the upcoming "Arrow" and "The Flash" spin-off, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". Check out the full version below.

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

The Banner features the principal cast and more than a few familiar faces, Perhaps most notable is Caity Lotz's return to The CW superhero universe. Lotz is known for her role as The Canary in "Arrow" but in the third season of that show (Spoilers!) the character was killed off. Speculation had been rife as to whether Lotz would resume her role from "Arrow" but it's now confirmed she'll take on the new role of The White Canary. It's still unclear at this point whether both characters are the same person, but with the presence of Rip-Hunter in the show, time-travel could be the reason behind the character's return from the grave.

Caity Lotz as Canary in "Arrow"
“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” stars Victor Garber (“The Flash,” “Alias”), Brandon Routh (“Arrow,” Superman Returns), Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Who”), Caity Lotz (“Arrow”), Ciarra Renee (“Pippin”), and Franz Drameh (Edge of Tomorrow), with Dominic Purcell (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”) and Wentworth Miller (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”).

We'll have more on "Legends" as it comes but in the meantime keep it locked here at Cape and Cowl for everything Superhero.
