Suicide Squad - New Jared Leto Joker Images and More
The Clown Prince Graces Empire Cover
By Alex Burns
With all the recent Batman v Superman news it's easy to forget that the next DC Comics adaptation 'Suicide Squad' is following a couple of months later. Once you remember though the floodgates of awesome are thrown wide open! We've got more to add to that tidal wave of epicness today with a fresh look at Jared Leto as the Joker and a few more snaps of Margot Robbie's Haley Quinn and co. in the new issue of Empire magazine. The cover itself is the standout showing off this new suitably outlandish Joker in garish colours and looking typically menacing. The images of Harleen Quinzel as working at Arkham Asylum with the Joker in an interview room are particularly intriguing, looks like the movie will stick close to the comic books as we see the Joker warp the mind of Quinzel transforming her into everyone's favourite criminally insane live wire; Harley Quinn. Check out the goods below plus that first Comic-Con trailer because... it's awesome!
'Suicide Squad' centres on a task force of DC Comics' Supervillains that accept a secret government mission that will likely result in their deaths. The film also stars Will Smith as Deadshot plus Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, the movie is directed by David Ayer and is set for release August 25th 2016.
There's also two new shots of Cara Delevigne as Enchantress, this character is one to watch for sure as she is out and out the most powerful member of the team, possessing actual superpowers and introducing magic to the DC Universe on film. Delevigne is also a rising star in the world of cinema so expect big things...
