'Suicide Squad': Harley Quinn and Deadshot Get in on the Empire Cover Action
Plus Jared Leto and Cara Delevigne Talk Up Their Roles

Another day another batch of Suicide Squad Empire Covers! This time round it's Will Smith taking aim as Deadshot and Margot Robbie having fun as Harley Quinn, the covers are our best look at the two supervillains yet check them out!
The Empire issue is on sale now and comes with covers featuring Jared Leto' Joker and Cara Delevigne as well. Those two actors have also commented on the upcoming DC movie in the Empire feature and talked up their respective roles giving us more of an idea of what to expect in the movie.
“She’s an ancient sorceress,” Delevingne says of Enchantress “A feral being. She’s been trapped for so long and now she’s finally let out… June is an adventure-seeker who’s always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, in an terrible way.”
Jared Leto discussed his preparation for the icoinic role.
“There was definitely a period of… detachment. I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games… It was painful, like giving birth out of my p***k-hole.”
Director David Ayer chimed in with some more on the Joker.
“If you don’t break rules, you’re not going to strike new ground,” he explains. “There’s a power to that character, and by some freaking miracle, through the incredible things Jared has done and the photography and all the other things that went into it, we’ve cooked up something transcendent.”
Producer Charles Roven who helemd the Dark Knight Trilogy with Christopher Nolan added a bit more context for this new Joker describing him as “more social” than Jokers past and adding that he is “a very successful and smart businessman.”

'Suicide Squad' centres on a task force of DC Comics' Supervillains that accept a secret government mission that will likely result in their deaths. The film also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn plus Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, the movie will be the next installment on the DC extended universe after 'Batman v Superman' and is set for release August 25th 2016.
