Superman Joins the League in New Promo
A New Dawn
By Alex Burns
Superman takes his rightful place alongside DC heroes in this new piece of Justice League promotional art. Rubies, a company that's no stranger to tie-in DC Comics Merchandise uploaded the image as part of their new Justice League costume line.
Join the League is also a new webpage to slot into the Unite the League marketing campaign.
Henry Cavill's Superman has been a notable omission from the majority of all Justice League promotion up to this point. While it's understandable for fans after the finale of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, for a lot of audiences the Justice League just isn't complete without the Man of Steel. While we of course know Superman will play a significant role in the film, but it's always great to see the big blue boy scout taking point with other iconic heroes on the film posters etc.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is set for release November 2017.
