Josh Brolin to Play Cable in Deadpool 2
Let the Sequel Commence

Josh Brolin will play Cable in Deadpool 2. The casting news comes straight from The Hollywood Reporter and ends weeks of speculation as to who would play the time-traveling X-Man from the future. Several big name and genre actors were in the hat for the role of Cable including Michael Shannon, Russel Crowe and Brad Pitt to name a few.
Josh Brolin is no stranger to comicbook movies having stared in 2011's Jonah Hex adaptation and with a continuing role as Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brolin deal is said to be for four films and this would include Deadpool sequels and the strongly rumoured X-Force film.
20th Century Fox are pushing Deadpool films to the top of their priority list and audeinces can expect Deadpool 2 to drop in early 2018 with Deadpool 3 to follow shortly thereafter, such was the success of last year's origin movie.
