Avengers: Infinity War Comic-Con Poster Revealed

Avengers: Infinity War Comic-Con Poster Revealed

End of the Line

By Alex Burns

Following their huge showcase at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Marvel Entertainment have revealed a new poster for Avengers: Infinity War (click to enlarge). Lucky fans who attended the Marvel Entertainment panel at Comic-Con were treated to a sneak peek at the superhero film, a leaked version has made it's way online if you look hard enough.

What really stands out here is Steve Rogers in a Captain America suit ripped of stars, stripes and the all-important Avengers crest following the fallout of last year's Civil War, Cap also has longer hair and a sizeable beard which closely resembles his Nomad appearance from the comics. Along with this change is Black Widow who is now sporting white (or is that blonde?) hair. Both characters are in hiding and it looks as though Thanos will be the threat to Earth that once again unites the Avengers.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to complete Marvel's Phase 3 series of films and will feature a huge team up of heroes including the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy tackling the might of Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet.

The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio del Toro, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2018. An untitled sequel is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2019.

But when Barry used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, he inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint; a phenomenon that gave birth to the villainous speed god known as Savitar, and changed the lives of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Wally West (Keiyan Lonsdale) forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), his lifelong best friend and love interest Iris West (Candice Patton), and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs — Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), C.S.I Julian Albert (Tom Felton), and an Earth-19 novelist named H.R. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) — Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it.

New cast additions for Season 4 include Neil Sandilands as The Thinker, the new big bad for the series, Danny Trejo as Breacher, a lethal bounty hunter from Earth-19 who is also the father of Jessica Camacho’s Gypsy. Rounding out the Season 4 cast was the announcement of Kim Engelbrecht as The Mechanic, The Thinker's villainous accomplice.

SDCC 2017 - Supergirl Season 3 Trailer & Cast Revealed

Dark Days Ahead

By Alex Burns

San Diego Comic-Con 2017 delivered a fantastic Supergirl Season 3 panel with a brand new trailer that's sure to ramp up excitement for the future. Check it out below!

New casting additions were also confirmed at the panel and are detailed officially below.

Adrian Pasdar (Heroes, Colony, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will play the charismatic capitalist Morgan Edge, a ruthless real estate developer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants (and what he feels he deserves). The DC villain’s big plans for National City instantly put him at odds with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath).

Carl Lumbly (Alias, Southland, The Cure for Wellness) embodies the classic DC character M’yrnn J’onzz, the father of J’onn J’onnz, the Martian Manhunter (David Harewood). A pacifist religious leader on Mars, M’yrn pushes his son in unexpected ways. Actor Lumbly is no stranger to the J’onzz family, as he’s voiced the Martian Manhunter on the Justice League animated series.

Yael Grobglas (Jane the Virgin, Reign) portrays DC character Psi, a psychic villain who uses people’s own minds against them. Psi’s agenda puts her on Supergirl’s radar, and their meeting will affect the Girl of Steel in surprising ways.

Emma Tremblay (Elysium, The Judge, The Giver, Wayward Pines) plays Ruby, a smart, independently minded National City kid who’s fascinated by Supergirl and ends up in jeopardy because of it.

Supergirl Season 3 premieres October 9 at 8/7c on The CW.
