First Look! Thor Ragnarok EW Cover

New Faces, New Haircuts!

Check out this awesome new Thor: Ragnarok cover for EW! We get a great look at Chris Hemsworth's updated look as Thor (what a haircut!) and also our first shots of Cate Blanchett’s Hela plus Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie! Stay tuned for more updates from the magazine's feature on the Marvel film.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth once again reprising his role as the God of Thunder himself, Tom Hiddleston is back as the mischievous Loki while Mark Ruffalo appears as the Doctor Bruce Banner aka the Incredible Hulk in an expanded role. Anthony Hopkins returns as Odin, Cate Blanchett joins the cast as new villain Hela alongside Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster and Karl Urban as Skurge. 

Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange is also confirmed to play a significant role in the film following a wonderful end credits scene with Thor at the end of last year's magical solo film.

Thor: Ragnarok is set for release October 27th in the UK and November 3rd in North America.
