Celebrate The Last of Us Outbreak Day!

Naughty Dog Offer up Poster and DLC

Naughty Dog are celebrating the fictitious Outbreak Day from their 2013 hit videogame The Last of Us. Outbreak Day is referred to within the game as September 26th, the day the Cordyceps Virus reached "Critical Mass" and basically signalled the end of humanity as we know it.

While this may be a somber occassion for Joel and Ellie to reflect on all of their horrible experiences since the outbreak, it's an excuse for the rest of us to remember a wonderful game and get all nostalgic.

Naughty Dog will celebrate the ocassion and release a special Outbreak Day theme on the Playstation Network as well providing "significant discounts on The Last of Us Remastered, the Left Behind standalone expansion, and "select" multiplayer add-ons. We've even got a 20% discount on all Last of Us apparel available at the Playstation Gear Store. 




The cool poster shown above is a collaboration between Naughty Dog and Mondo, with art be Kevin Tong. The poster will be available to purchase at mondotees.com with quantities seriously limited because Mondo is great at making things everyone wants but only ever having enough for like five people. I kid... but seriously... good luck in getting one...

The Last of Us is one of the greatest games of all time and while we await the day developer Naughty Dog decides to announce it's sequel, we will make do with this.
