Super Friends

The Flash and Supergirl will team up! The CW and CBS will join forces to allow the two DC Comics heroes to join forces for a special crossover. Grant Gustin's Flash will be the character to make the network jump as he'll head to National City to appear in an upcoming Supergirl episode. Details are scarce but we know the episode will air March 28th.
“We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl—The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up!,” said The Flash and Supergirl Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”
The rumour mill had been running in overdrive on this team up long before even the first episode of Supergirl aired. We had a Variety photoshoot showing off the two heroes but that's as close as it seemed a crossover would go. Not so anymore and we can't wait to see more develop on this story! After the success of Constantine appearing on Arrow earlier this season it seems anything is possible with the DC television properties, anyone want to appear in Gotham?
