There's been plenty of developments to keep up with regarding Fox's Gotham season 2, after the reveal of Michael Chiklis and Natalie Alyn Lind joining the cast as series regulars we now have our first footage from the new episodes. The two promos show off some pretty interesting plot points for the new season as we see Bruce Wayne and Alfred checking out the Batcave as well as a tease for the "rise of villains". We get a glimpse of the rumoured Joker, Cameron Monaghan, plus we also see the Penguin established as Gotham's crimelord. There's also plenty of Jim Gordon who is a mission to take down the corrupt Commissioner Loeb. Hot Toys have unveiled a new Iron Man collectible figure, the sculpt will be based on the latest suit that Tony Stark used in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron. Hot Toys are notorious for their epic bad ass figurines and this Iron Man edition looks to be no different. The figurine features a seriously complex sculpted armoured body, an insane amount of articulation and some sweet specially applied metallic red, gold and silver coloured paint complete with alternate weathering effects! You'll be able to change up the appearance the figure as it comes removable armor plating and linkage designs. You've also got LED light-up functions on various parts of armor and there's a even special edition that will include a detached sentry bot head as a memento of your victory of Ultron!

CBS have unveiled the official poster for their DC Comics adaptation 'Supergirl' as well as a new promo.The Superman spin-off show will debut this November and the poster offers a great shot of lead actress, Melissa Benoist, in flight, the promo continues the action as we see Supergirl soar. Interview Magazine has run a feature on actress and model Gal Gadot and managed to steer conversation towards her upcoming role as Wonder Woman in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. This will be the first mega budget iteration of the character on screen and fans and audiences alike are eager to see the hero alongside the Dark Knight and Man of Steel. “When I just started as an actress, you go to L.A. and the managers and the agency set up general meetings with directors and writers. They always ask you the same questions: “What are you looking for? What types of movie would you like to do?” And I always said, “I’m open.” I’m very open to all different genres because I’m a very open-minded girl. But eventually, I told them that I wanted to be able to show the stronger side of women. I didn’t want to do the obvious role that you see in Hollywood most of the time, which is the heartbroken girl who’s waiting to be rescued by the guy, blah, blah, blah. I wanted to do something different. Little did I know that I would land Wonder Woman not long after.”
On The responsibility of playing Wonder Woman
Oh, my God, I’m so excited about this role. I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for. There’s a lot of responsibility. But I have the best team and the best people to work with. It’s going to be an amazing ride, knock on wood.
What about meeting audience expectations?
No matter what you do, you can never please them all. People will always have something to say because that’s the way people are. And it’s okay. But for me, it’s my job. It’s my career. It’s my art. Whatever I do, I take it very seriously and I do my research and I give it my best. I just want to be able to shine and inspire people. And it’s not just about me. First Footage from 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy' Debuts
Animated Series Joins Disney XD in September

We've got a super short preview of the upcoming animated series 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy' to share with you all. The clip was released by Marvel Entertainment (via IGN) and shows off the first footage from the anticipated series. Based on the success of the hit 'Guardians' movie the animated show will look to emulate the same sense of fun and adventure. Even though it's brief it's still an awesome tidbit of what's to come, check out the clip in the player below
“Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” follows the newly-formed team who finds a strange artifact keyed only to the DNA of Peter Quill. Upon opening it, Quill unleashes a treasure map leading to a powerful weapon known as the Cosmic Seed which is capable of giving birth to the next universe. Artist Sneaks in Subtle Superman Reference

Super-talented artist Alex Ross has lent his expertise to the cover of 'Secret Wars issue #8 and it's a thing o f beauty. There are so many small details to look at in this piece and it gives a great account of some of Marvel's history on one page. Alex Ross is one of my favourite comic book artists and he ranks among the greatest of all time for sure. Ross is also a massive Superman fan and if you look closely you can see he's managed to sneak in a little reference to the DC hero on the Marvel cover. First off lets take a look at the painting in all it's glory.
Did you see it? Well lets look closer...
There! Just underneath Spidey's leg you can just make out a foot, more specifically Superman's foot, complete with red boot and all! It's a subtle reference for sure but it's still a neat litter easter egg and as the cover will have you looking closely at all the Marvel history on display it's cool to pick out. The image of Spider-Man is a direct reference to the time he and Superman faced off back in 1976 in 'The Battle of the Century' crossover comic.
Alex Ross has been running the covers for the epic Marvel event which is ongoing right through 2015 and deals with alternate Marvel universes colliding and the history of the universe being forever altered. With all the focus on next years big marvel movie 'Captain America: Civil War' there's been little in the way of 'Thor: Ragnarock' news. In a recent interview Actress Jamie Alexander, who plays the formidable Asgardian warrior Sif, has spoken out about Ragnarok and how the movie will be teased in Civil War. “There’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through ‘Agents of SHIELD,’ [‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’], ‘Captain [America: Civil War’] will have some stuff,” Alexander confirmed. “There’s just all kind of Easter eggs and hunts, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films.”
The actress was a little unsure as to whether Sif will be back with the rest of Thor's warrior buddies in any other Marvel movies but confirmed Sif will play a crucial part in 'Thor: Ragnarok',
“Marvel, I think on purpose, they don’t tell me certain things,” she said, “because they know I’ll be like, ‘So here’s what’s gonna happen.’ But I do know I will be in ‘Thor 3′ and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can’t tell you what because I’ll get shot.”
A lot was made of the sequence in 'Age of Ultron' where Thor takes a dip in a mystical pool and then seriously trips out having a vision that shows the end of the world. The seemingly out of place scene has been addressed by Ultron director Joss Whedon and looks to have been included as a tease for the upcoming Thor movie. Looks like that may be explored a little more in Civil War will the famous Marvel end credits scene be a tease for Ragnarok? 'Captain America: Civil War' bows May 6th 2016 and 'Thor: Ragnarok' is set for release October 27th 2017.
'The Shield' Star Michael Chiklis Joins 'Gotham' Season 2
Batman Prequel Series Adds to Cast

After the announcement of Natalie Alyn Lind taking on the role of Silver St Cloud FOX’s “Gotham” have made another casting addition this week with Michael Chiklis joining the Gotham City Police Department as Captain Nathaniel Barnes. Chiklis will be crossing paths with Jim Gordon and the production team on the show have spoken a little about the role. “[Barnes] lands on the GCPD like a tornado,” 'Gotham’s' producers tell TV Line, “ripping out thedead wood of Gotham’s police force. He is a law and order zealot; unafraid of making enemies – on either side of the law. For Gordon, Barnes is a hero and a mentor, someone with whom he can share the burden of heroism. Captain Barnes proves himself to be a strong ally to Gordon… but one day he will make an equally powerful enemy.” Chiklis will certainly be suited to the role of a grizzled police veteran having starred in the hugely successful FX series “The Shield”. We gotta mention his time as Ben Grimm in both of Tim Story’s 'Fantastic Four' movies as well. So it looks as though "it's clobberin' time! for Gotham's criminals! Sorry... we just couldn't resist. A new TV Spot has been revealed for the upcoming LEGO Dimensions with Batman meeting Scooby-Doo's best pal, Shaggy! The new videogame will feature a huge roster of characters and will be the first cross-over of it's kind featuring a number of world famous franchises like 'Jurassic World', 'The Lord of The Rings' and 'The Simpsons'.
