Check out a brand new clip from Warner Bros. Pictures' next DC Comics film, Wonder Woman.


Gal Gadot takes on the role of Diana Prince as we explore the origins of Wonder Woman who appeared earlier in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Gadot will also take a leading role alongside Batman, The Flash and other DC heroes in Zack Snyder's Justice League set for release November 17th 2017.


Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman is set for release June 2nd 2017.

Warner Bros. Pictures have revelead several new images of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The pictures show off a fresh look at the solo film directed by Patty Jenkins which will be the first to feature the iconic hero in a standalone movie. Expect more reveals and possibly our first full length trailer for the film at San Diego Comic-Con taking place July 21-24.

The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor and is set for release November June 2nd 2017 before Gadot teams up with Ben Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman for the Justice League movie on November 17th 2017 where audiences will also see The FLash, Aquaman and Cyborg take to the movie screen.

Chris Pine Officially Joins 'Wonder Woman' Movie

Star Trek Actor Will Play Love Interest

After months of rumours that Chris Pine was set to join a DC Comics movie we now have confirmation that Captain Kirk himself will play the role of Steve Trevor in Warner Bros. Pictures upcoming 'Wonder Woman' movie! The film stars Gal Gadot (The Fast and the Furious) in the title role and will be directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster). Pine joins the movie after another torrent of rumours had him linked to play the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, in the 2018 'Green Lantern Corps' movie, now we can put all that speculation to rest as he is locked in for Steve Trevor in DC's cinematic universe.

If you're wondering just who exactly Steve Trevor is then we've got you covered as he's had a few different interpretations in the decades since his debut in 1942's 'All Star Comics' #8. This origin saw the character as a US soldier whose plane crash lands onto Wonder Woman's home turf of Paradise Island. The island is a females only deal and Steve's presence exposed the hidden civilisation to the world. There's been a few changes to the character along the way but he's always maintained a close relationship with Wonder Woman and they've often been involved romantically as well.

The launch of DC's New 52 saw Trevor as a liaise officer for the US government and the newly formed Justice League. It remains to be seen if Trevor will play out that role in the upcoming 'Justice League' movies the Wonder Woman movie is set to to take place across decades as 'Wonder Woman' is introduced to a male dominated world.

Gadot will first star in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' in March 2016 before Pine joins her in the 'Wonder Woman' solo movie in June 2017. Gadot will definitely be back for Justice League: Part One' in November 2017 Pine may appear in that movie as well. Close Up Look at Character's Costumes

Not long after the official reveal of the Suicide Squad the cast all went to work for a night-shoot, thankfully for curious cats like us, some set photos have made it online. We get a great look at Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and like Jared Leto's Joker, Quinn is partial to a face tattoo or two, she looks to have a small love heart on her cheek, a few others are also visible but are difficult to make out. The styling of Quinn will please comic book fans and the Baseball Bat with the words "Good Night" emblazoned across it is a real nice touch. Click to enlarge the images.

Other photos show Scott Eastwood in a Military outfit, rumours persist he will be playing Steven Trevor, who in the comics has a very close relationship with Wonder Woman.
