A steampunk Batman hunts Jack the Ripper in turn of the century Gotham City in Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, the newest entry in the popular DC Universe Original Movies line of animated films.


Batman: Gotham by Gaslight will be available on Digital HD on January 23, 2018 and on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on February 6, 2018.

The Dark Knight Takes on Jack the Ripper

Check out an extended look at the next upcoming DC Animated Feature - Batman: Gotham By Gaslight.

An adaptation of the popular 1989 tale that introduced the Victorian Era Dark Knight who was in pursuit of Jack the Ripper, the original comic was written by Brian Augustyn and drawn by Mike Mignola of Hellboy fame. Batman: Gotham by Gaslight is largely considered to be the very first “Elseworlds” tale. At 48 pages, the original comic is relatively slim, meaning the movie version will offer an expanded version of the story, something that’s sure to delight fans of its cobblestone-paved world.

No release date as of yet but expect this to release near Winter 2017.

Set in Victorian era London the game features a wealth of history as you traverse a rich and detailed game world. If Templars weren't enough of a challenge for you, then you'll now have to deal with one of the most notorious serial killers the world has ever known in this epic new DLC story pack. 



This all new campaign is available as part of the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Season Pass on December 15.
