Disney have revealed an extensive list of details for the upcoming releases of Star Wars The Force Awakens on home video. When we say extensive we really do mean it, there are numerous alternate editions of the film for fans to collect. The seventh episode of the Star Wars saga will be available digitally from April 1 and on Blu-Ray and DVD from April 5 in the US and Canada but for us schmucks here in the UK there's a bizarre wait until April 18th... say what!? The Force Awakens blew the box office to space dust with an epic theatrical run that amassed over $926 million domestically in the United States and $2.05 billion worldwide. Combine that with an estimated $3 Billion in merchandising profits and it's no wonder Disney are going all out for the home video release!
 
UK retailer Zavvi is offering up a choice between the light and the dark side with these classy covers.

Target are offering up this face filled number which comes complete with some glorious interior artwork and crucially additional bonus content - 20 minutes of never-before-seen content including interviews with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega as well as a more insight into the costumes and weapons in the movie.
 
 
Walmart are going with the latest Star Wars mascot with a special BB-8 edition that also comes with a Star Wars Galactic Connexions Trading Disc.
