Hugh Jackman on Playing Wolverine One Last Time
Actor has 17 Years in the Role
By Alex Burns
Now here's something that may make some of you feel your age a little bit... Hugh Jackman has been doing a few media appearances recently and talked openly about calling time on his career as the Wolverine, a role he has been playing for 17 years, that's right... 17 YEARS! It seems like only yesterday we saw Jackman suit up for the first time in the 2000 hit "X-Men" but clearly it's not... in fact it's been nearer two decades since the actor auditioned for the role that changed his life. He's already appeared in seven X-Men films and Jackman is set to appear as Wolverine in Bryan Singers upcoming 'X-Men: Apocalypse' and although unconfirmed the actor has been coy about appearing alongside Ryan Reynolds in 'Deadpool'. We know that the as of yet Untitled Wolverine Sequel, coming March 3, 2017, will be his last time playing the role. Check out Jackman's comments from his appearance on “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” in the video below.
We'll keep you up to date with everything Wolverine related and keep it locked here for all news regarding the final 'Wolverine' movie, according to Sir Patrick Stewart, could see Logan and Professor Xavier teaming up. James Mangold is directing once again after stepping up with "The Wolverine" in 2013.
