The Hit Series Returns

The CW are stepping up promotion for the second season of 'The Flash' and have offered up some new footage from the opening episode plus interviews with the main cast. The footage shows off the ramifications of Barry Allen's encounter with a destructive singularity at the end of season 1. The series introduces more comic book characters including the speedster Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) who will serve as a mentor to Barry now that alternate dimensions have been revealed. The new big Bad for the series will be known simply as ZOOM and has already been confirmed as being faster than both The Flash and season 1 villain The Reverse Flash, will Barry be up to the challenge? Check out the videos below!
Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) and Jesse L Martin (Det. Joe West) also offered up their thoughts on the finale of season 1 and also how their respective characters start off at the beginning of season 2.
The Flash returns in October on Sky 1 here in the UK.
