Check out two new previews for the second episode of Supergirl Season 2 titled, "The Last Children of Krypton".

CADMUS attacks National City with a kryptonite powered villain who ends up seriously hurting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) blames Hank (David Harewood) because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO. Meanwhile, Kara’s first day at her new job doesn’t go as planned after she meets her new boss, Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez).

Supergirl Season 2 continues Monday nights on it's new home - the CW. Kara Zor-El joins The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow in an epic week of superhero television action!

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, No, it's Awesome News!

Superman fans rejoice! The Wrap is reporting that Warner Bros. is at long last ready and willing to get to work on another big budget solo Superman movie. Henry Cavill first took on the epic red cape in 2013's Man of Steel before facing off against Ben Affleck earlier this year in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Other than the report of “active development” there's next to no information and it's unlikely we will hear much on the project for some time.

Warner Bros. previously announced two untitled DC Comics movies back in April with fans speculating wildly as to what DC hero would feature on the placeholder dates of October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019. It's a safe bet that those two release dates will be occupied by Affleck’s recently confrimed solo Batman movie and this new solo Superman movie.

It's going to be a busy next few years for audiences and comic fans alike and the news of Batman and Superman solo films alongside the rest of the DC Extended Universe on film is bound to raise excitement levels.

Fans will get to see Henry Cavill return as Superman in Justice League which releases November 2017. The DC Comics epic is set for release March 25th, 2016.
