The original Ni no Kuni - The Wrath of the White Witch - was a hidden gem, the game was a big hit in Japan and received enormous critical acclaim worldwide, when the title finally rolled over with a western release, I sank hours and hours into the game and have nothing but good things to say about it. Imagine Pokemon, Studio Ghibli and Final Fantasy all rolled into one delightful ball of fun and you're about halfway on to what makes this series so special.

On his quest to found his Kingdom, Evan will face numerous challenges and will have to make the right choices to get to unite his world. Featuring a brand new combat system for dynamic fights, and the expertise of Level-5 to tell you an emotional story.

Bandai Namco have revealed a new E3 trailer for Code Vein, a new third-person action RPG.


In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.

Bandai Namco have shared an epic new trailer for their remastered release of One Piece Unlimited World Red. Will you be diving back into this sea-faring adventure game, or simply picking up for the first time?


The Straw Hat Pirates will dock on PS4 and PC with a brand new revamped version of the game, and for the first time ever on Nintendo Switch in September. The game comes with several new features from technical and content side.

Explore the Grand Blue as never you’ve never seen it before. One Piece Unlimited World - Red Deluxe Edition will support up to 4K on PC & PS4 Pro, Full HD on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Players can rely up to 60 fps on all three platforms in order to allow for a powerful and enjoyable experience. All games modes will be available for PS4 Pro, PS4™ and Nintendo Switch in 2-player Co-Op!

Re-discover the original adventure of Luffy and his pirate crew that encounter and befriends a cheerful yet mysterious raccoon named Pato who possesses a shadowy power to create anything drawn onto a leaf. In order to help their newfound friend, Pato leads the crew to the Forgotten Island where they get kidnapped by a wicked pirate named The Red Count and Luffy must fight to recover his crew from the enemy’s grasp and find out exactly what The Red Count’s evil plots are. The adventure will come loaded with incredible content thanks to the inclusion of more than 40 DLC’s.

ONE PIECE UNLIMITED WORLD RED - DELUXE EDITION will be available digitally for PlayStation 4,PlayStation 4 Pro and PC on August 25th 2017. Nintendo Switch - both physically and digitally on September 2017.

Bandai Namco have revealed a new videogame for release in 2018, check out the announcement trailer for Code Vein. A new third-person action RPG, Code Vein looks to have drawn influence from developer, FromSoftware's Dark Souls series which Bandai also publish, there's also a surprising anime cel-shaded character style to mix up the aesthetic even further.

CODE VEIN is a third-person action RPG that finds players assuming the role of a Revenant. After stumbling into Vein, players are tasked to embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover lost memories and an exit out of this new demented reality. The world of CODE VEIN is dangerous, full of vicious enemies and monstrous bosses to put players’ combat skills to the test.

Revenants also have access to Blood Veils, devices capable of draining the blood of their enemies in order to enhance their own abilities. Exploiting these enhanced abilities known as Gifts, players can change their form to increase their strength, weaken enemies, and utilize new weapon abilities with overpowered attacks. Utilizing the vast array of weaponry along with each character’s Gift, players can adapt and strategize to a variety of battle conditions that suit their play styles.

CODE VEIN is announced for release on major home consoles in 2018.

Bandai Namco have revealed the debut trailer for 'Ni no Kuni: Revenant Kingdom' and it is a beautiful suprise! The first installment,  Ni no Kuni: The Wrath of the White Witch' was a hidden gem, the game was a big hit in Japan and received enormous critical acclaim worldwide, when the title finally rolled over with a western release I sank hours and hours into the game and have nothing but good things to say about it. Imagine Pokemon, Studio Ghibli and Final Fantasy all rolled into one delightful ball of fun and you;re halfway to waht makes this series so special. Check out the reveal trailer below!

The game is being developed ofr PS4 exclusively and looks absolutely next gen, the fairytale RPG style looks stunning on the console and this is absolutely going to be one massive game. We can't wait to play this new adventure but sadly we've got no idea when 'Revenat King' is coming out, settle in it might be a huge wait, that was the deal with the first game. One thing is for sure though, we'll keep you in the know right here at Cape and Cowl!
