Brie Larson Confirmed as Captain Marvel
A New Hero Takes Centre Stage

Captain Marvel is one of the most mysterious and highly anticipated projects in the upcoming Marvel Studios line-up. We now have the news that actress Brie Larson will take on the role of Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel!
The news was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con following months of rumors and speculation linking the Oscar-winning actress to the role.
Captain Marvel is a mainstay of Marvel comics and the news of a confirmed solo movie and such a talented actress taking on the part is bound to get excitement levels on the rise. A hero that is just at home on Earth or in more space-bound adventures Captain Marvel promises to enrich the wonderful line-up of Marvel heroes we have on screen already and her inclusion to the MCU raises all sorts of possibilities for the upcoming Infinity War movies in which Larson will make her debut as the superhero.
Captain Marvel is set for release March 2019 and Marvel Studios is still on the hunt for a director.
