'The LEGO Movie' was great fun and many will agree that one of the best parts of the film was Will Arnett's performance as Batman, so it's no suprise that the character is getting a spin-off movie, what is a bit of a suprise is just how many awesome additions Warner Bros. are making to the cast list. The Hollywood Reporter has broke the news today that BAFTA award-winning actor Ralph Fiennes is now onboard for 'The LEGO Batman Movie', playing none other then Bruce Wayne's trusty butler, Alfred Pennyworth!

Best known to modern audiences as Lord Voldermort in the 'Harry Potter' films and his recent role as M in the new 'James Bond' movies, Fiennes also received enormous critical acclaim for his role as Amon Goeth in 'Schindler's List and his performance as Count Laszlo de Almásy in 'The English Patient'.

Fiennes will appear alongside a pretty impressive cast that includes Will Arnett ('Arrested Development') who repises his role as Batman from The LEGO Movie, Rosario Dawson ('Marvel's Daredevil') as Batgirl, Michael Cera ('Superbad') as Robin and Zach Galifianakis ('The Hangover') as The Joker.

Directed by Chris Mckay('Robot Chicken') and written by Seth Grahame-Smith ('Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter') and 'The LEGO Movie' writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, 'The LEGO Batman Movie' is set for release May 26th, 2017
