Check out this sweet tie-in track for Suicide Squad. The song titled "Heathens" by Twenty One Pilots is a perfect fit for the apparent tone of DC Comics' super villain film.
Promotion is seriously stepping up for the next instalment in the DC Universe on film after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we'll be sure to keep you up to date right here at Cape and Cowl.
Directed by David Ayer and starring Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Will Smith, Suicide Squad is set for release August 25th, 2016.
Entertainment Weekly have the goods on Rogue One and the mysterious new instalment to the Star Wars Saga just got a lot more context! Check out some brand new images from the magazine plus some sweet new character details.
First up we have the confirmation that Forest Whittaker will be portraying Saw Gerra, a character that will be remembered for his appearance in the Clone Wars animated series fighting alongside a Jedi Anakin Skywalker. “Consider him kind of a battered veteran who leads a band of Rebel extremists,” Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy stated. “He’s on the fringe of the Rebel Alliance. Even [they] are a little concerned about him.”
Next up is the exciting news that Darth Vader will be returning to cinema screens in Rogue One and James Earl Jones is back on hand to lend his signature voice to the iconic villain. “He will be in the movie sparingly,” Kennedy comments. “But at a key, strategic moment, he’s going to loom large.” “Within the Rebellion, it’s not commonly spoken about,” director Gareth Edwards adds. “Within the Empire, there is the culture of knowing of the existence of Darth Vader. There’s definitely an underlying feeling that there is a power – a dark power – available to the Empire and that if you overstep your mark, you will suffer the consequences.”
Following the foundation of the Galactic Empire, a wayward band of Rebel fighters come together to carry out a desperate mission: to steal the plans for the Death Star before it can be used to enforce the Emperor's rule. Edwards stated that the style of the film will be similar to that of a war film, stating, "It's the reality of war. Good guys are bad. Bad guys are good. It's complicated, layered; a very rich scenario in which to set a movie."
The film's cast is peppered with upcoming talent as Felicity Jones takes the lead role as Jyn Erso alongside Mads Mikklesen who plays her father, Galen Erso. Diego Luna stars as Captain Cassian Andor with Donnie Yen as the blind spiritual warrior Chirrut Imwe, Jiang Wen as his heavily armored best friend Baze Malbus,, Alan Tudyk as the droid K-2SO, Riz Ahmed as the Rebel pilot Bodhi Rook and Ben Mendelsohn as the film’s main antagonist, Director Orson Krennic.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set for release December 16, 2017.
New Power Rangers Poster and Bryan Cranston is Zordon!

We've got our first one-sheet for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot and it's certainly the definition of a teaser poster, revealing very little but also establishing a more mature tone for the film. We've also got the confirmation that Bryan Cranston, yes THAT Bryan Cranston, will be joining the cast of the movie as Zordon. That's as big a shock as any twist in Breaking Bad and we can't wait to see the Rangers getting sagely wisdom from Heisenberg himself.
Elizabeth Banks is another stellar name on the cast list the Hunger Games actor will be playing Rita Repulsa, the Power Rangers themselves are a batch of relative newcomers; Dacre Montgomery stars as Jason the Red Ranger with RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger and Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger.
The film is directed by Dean Isralite and is a re-telling of the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers TV Show.
Justice League Official Movie Logo Revealed Plus New Batmobile Photo

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics have revealed the official logo for the highly anticipated Justice League film. The continuation of the DC Universe on film, Justice League follows 2013's Man of Steel and this year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will see Superman ( Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash ( Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) unite on screen for the first time.
A brand new image of the Batmobile was also revealed and there are sure to more additions to Batman's arsenal for the new movie.
What do you make of the logo? Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and is set for release November 10th 2017.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks to be the entry into the franchise that many fans have been asking for, a game to update the Zelda formula and embrace the best elements of modern game design. Sony have revealed a brand new trailer for a new, next-gen, Spider-Man game! Developed by Insomniac Games (Ratchet and Clank) this new videogame adventure promises an all-new Spidey experience for console gamers. This news comes just a few weeks after we were asked why there hasn't been a Spider-Man game for next-gen consoles, check out our thoughts on that and the cool announcement trailer below. Nether Realm Studios and Warner Bros. Entertainment have unveiled the first look at gameplay from Injustice 2 and it does not disappoint!
"From cinematic attacks tearing across the sky to the appearance of a certain blue cat dressed in a red onesie, so far Injustice 2 has everything a fan of the first game could want, and by that we mean a Dex-Starr cameo."
There are some seriously cool additions to the roster for the new instalment in the superhero fighting game franchise and sure to be more announced at E3 in the week. We'll keep you updated on the game as more news developed.

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment have revealed the first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition featuring snippets of new footage from the extended cut. Check it out below!
It's no secret that Dawn of Justice had a mixed reception from fans and critics alike but we hold out hope that this Ultimate edition will go some way to answering some of those issues. The R rated final cut of the DC Comics movie is hopefully not just excessively violent or full of more swear words. Perhaps there are some more adult themes that explain character motivations that were simply missing in theatrical cut, maybe we're being too optimistic...
Time will tell! The ultimate Edition is available to download digitally on June 28th or purchase on home video on July 19th.
