Star Wars: The Last Jedi - New Rey Promo Art Revealed

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - New Rey Promo Art Revealed

Feel the Force

By Franco Dionsio

Lucasfilm artist, Steven Anderson has shared a key piece of promo art for Star Wars: The Last Jedi featuring, Rey and the Millenium Falcon.

In a post he shared Anderson writes.

This is probably my favorite piece that I was lucky enough to create for the Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie coming out this December.
It's hard to convey action with a static image, but sometimes non-action poses are powerful in their own way.

To me, this pose portrays Rey with a newfound, unwavering sense of confidence and power. She may have led a solitary life as a scavenger on the desert planet Jakku, but now that she's found long-lost Jedi master Luke Skywalker, she seems at one with her understanding of the the force. She may not know her destiny in the galaxy-spanning conflict, but knows her place is with the Resistance fighting against the New Order.

Her commanding pose staring directly at you tells you she's wholly embracing the Force and letting the light guide her.
