New DC Comic adaptation 'Supergirl' premiered last week and following a strong start to the first season we've got an extended look at what's to come this week. Episode 2 titled "Stronger Together" presents new challenges for Kara and she'll have to reach a level of power like never before to overcome them. Check out the official synopsis and new preview trailer below!
When Kara’s attempts to help National City don’t go according to plan, she must put aside the doubts that she – and the city’s media – has about her abilities in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz. Also, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an interview with Supergirl.
Melissa Benoist leads the show as Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, the rest of the cast includes Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), Iddo Goldberg as Red Tornado, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, and Dean Cain and Helen Slater.
'Supergirl' airs Mondays of CBS and Thursdays on Sky 1 in the UK.
